COLLECTOR is
defined as “a person who collects or
amasses objects as a hobby”.
As a collector myself, I have a deep passion for Philippine collectibles and memorabilia. My love for collecting started at a young age, when I was first introduced to the world of stamps, coins, and paper money by my father who was also a collector.
At 14 years old, I was drawn to the historical significance of the political pins of Ninoy and Cory Aquino, and this marked the beginning of my journey in the world of collecting. Over the years, my interests have grown and expanded to include a wide range of items, including comics, postcards, boy scout memorabilia, vintage toys, books, magazines, maps, political memorabilia, medals, trade cards, records, Philippine coins, and banknotes.
I take pride in my collection and find joy in sharing my experiences with others who share my passion for preserving and celebrating Philippine culture and history through collectibles and memorabilia.
This personal blog serves as a record of my journey as a collector and my love for all things Philippine collectibles and memorabilia. I hope to inspire and educate others about the rich history and cultural heritage of the Philippines through the items I have collected.

You should visit the Museum at Villa Escudero (boundary of San Pablo City and Tiaong). Bong Estiva
ReplyDeleteThanks Bong for your suggestion... I have been there and the collection at Villa Escudero is fantastic. I am glad that they were able to preserve for future generation to see and appreciate.
ReplyDeleteHi, I was wondering if you could help me with a Marcos memorabilia. It's a pewter presentation box with the presidential seal (in gold) at the center of the top lid and an etched greeting saying "Best Wishes, President and Mrs. Ferdinand E. Marcos. The Box is made by Selangor Pewter of Malaysia. This was given to a former President of Caterpillar, Illinois. Anyway, I wanted to know if you know the value of this item. I can send you a picture if that will help. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks! -Paolo
